The rattle results from tolerances in the steel tube used for manufacture of towbar components. This can be fixed by fitting your towbar mount with an ‘anti-rattle hitch pin’, permanently eliminating annoying rattling, as well as acting as a theft deterrent.

Towbars with a bolt on tongue can tow up to 1600 kg, but for heavy duty towing you will need a hitch receiver.
